Using the service

ChessAlive provides chess gameplay, puzzles, lessons, and related content for personal, non-commercial use. You agree to use the service lawfully and not to disrupt it, attempt to gain unauthorised access, scrape it at scale, or use it to harass other players.

Accounts

You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login secure. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or our fair-play and anti-cheating rules.

Content

The guides, designs, and software on ChessAlive are protected by intellectual-property rights and may not be copied or redistributed without permission. Chess as a game and standard opening names are, of course, free for everyone.

Premium and payments

Optional paid features ("Premium") are billed through our payment provider. Subscriptions renew until cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription as described in the app.

Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChessAlive is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes
